Deeper human connection. First hand learning. Experiencing the world through a different lens. Getting out of your comfort zone. Better understanding of political, economic and educational systems. These are just a few ways that I would describe my Cambodian travels with Ventures by Jodi Morris. I have participated in many of her trips and my first venture to Southeast Asia did not disappoint. I came away with a deep appreciation for Cambodia's painful past and hopeful future. I was most impressed with the SHE-CAN scholars who have earned their education abroad, yet are determined to make a real difference in their own country. Our many discussions with entrepreneurs and rising leaders were heartfelt and meaningful. The trip was well organized and steeped in cultural richness. I am grateful that this was my first exposure to Asia in general, as I will forever travel differently. Many thanks to Jodi for making a true difference in the world.

This was a terrific trip. Well designed and thought out - we really got to meet the movers and shakers in Rwanda and learn what life is like in this magical country. The energy of all the people we met was inspiring and infectious. Everything ran to plan and the accommodation, transport, food(especially being a veggie) and even the weather, worked very well. The guides were brilliant and knowledgeable about all things Rwanda. Thank you Jodi for doing such a great job.

This was a trip of a lifetime with true connections with local nonprofits, venture funds, education, and culture. I truly enjoyed the deep connections fostered as well as learning about the history and culture of Rwanda. The relationships started and sparked on the trip will last and grow. The Gorilla trek add-on was also amazing.

This was another incredible venture curated by Jodi Morris. Top among the many unique highlights was connecting with amazing people and gaining access into areas that I would have never been able to do on my own. For example, visiting the construction site of the future Zaria Court, discussing investments/tourism with members of the Rwandan Development Board and meeting artistic influencers. This was my 4th trip with Ventures and I look forward to my 5th - no pressure Jodi! Pam S.

Venture Rwanda 2024 was an incredible, life-changing event. I have not done a lot of travel out of the country but have always wanted to approach travel as a way to learn and broaden my horizons rather than just going on a vacation to see impressive sights and post my photos to social media after. The people of Rwanda really make the country, it is hard to properly put into words how amazing it is. I went on this trip thinking it would be a once in a lifetime adventure. The connections I made and the impact the people had on me guarantee that there will be future trips to Rwanda. Jodi is a gracious guide and knows how to guarantee that you have a good time, while immersing you in new experiences that will forever change how you see travel and visiting other countries moving forward. I would highly recommend any of her trips and expect I'll join another one in the not-too-distant future.
